     In brief, the USS Prevalence did get captained by me on August 1, 2384; but my captaincy of that starship will end on December 31, 2388.

HERE ARE SOME SECTIONS OF THE USS PREVALENCE-A STORY FROM AUGUST 2384 TO FEBRUARY 28, 2385

     The USS Prevalence did get quickly commissioned in August 2384 under its first (and acting) captain under my name.  Because of circumstances beyond my control, I had no choice but to command the USS Prevalence from then on until my end of the captaincy date of December 31, 2385.

     The USS Prevalence has not made many friends because it has not been permitted to come to the scene first for fear of getting accused of obstructing the legal process done by its crew.

     That Sovereign-class starship has made some enemies in the process.  Some people within the community want to make enemies with me; but some others become my foes inadvertently as rogue groups of any Alpha Quadrant civilizations (Breen, for example).

     I just have to interact with new people in life, but the USS Fulcrum 7 has been virtually the closest Federation starship to Starbase 1041.

     The USS Prevalence has been the assigned starship to Starbase 1041 since August 2384 although it is a heavy explorer starship.  This starship will be given to the next captain in January 2386 because I will be getting my fresh command of the USS Omega Clipper-A.

     As I think closely about the fringes of the Alpha Quadrant with the edge of the galaxy, I wonder about my use of the USS Prevalence as a Sovereign-class heavy explorer ship.

     Over the months since the hasty commissioning of the USS Prevalence, mental health professionals did decide that my starship and its influence are unwelcome to their presence because they want to keep things secret from other places within the community and within neighboring sectors.

     In February 2385, the USS Prevalence has been ordered to avoid intervention on any client's behalf because mental health professionals want that starship out of any service within their space.

MARCH 2385 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE-A STORY

     Now into early March 2385, the professionals have ordered the USS Prevalence not to intervene on anyone's behalf because they want me to focus only on reality as if I still have my mental illness getting worse under their reports about me.

     On March 7, 2385, the USS Prevalence has not been allowed to enter Crossroads space, so I have to use a runabout from that starship because of circumstances within the Crossroads/Starfleet bureaucratic issues.  I nearly did enter into a roadblock of such circumstances myself, but Starfleet gets tired of dealing with the mental health professionals and some clients who want to start another war against the organization.  Some people of such groups still want no peace with Starbase 1041 by attempting to provoke another war that may not help anybody.

     As of this day, I have remembered how my adversaries did try to have me banned from Central Mall as I know how they tried to lie about me by making false reports against me.  Witnesses did tell security officers that the 2 men have made up lies about me.  Security officers and the manager did tell them that what they did to me was flagrantly wrong and had them banned for 30 days.

     Still, one of the two men has his vendetta against me because I have told the truth all along.  He has hated me for telling the truth all along because he has known that the truth hurts him.

     March 7, 2385, means that I will have one week and two days left before I will have to end Chapter 8 of Project Delta Book 6: Best of Both Friends, Part II.  After all, I try to make a few best friends if possible; but I know from experience that some friends have made friends with others outside the USS Prevalence-A, something that I sometimes do not tolerate in person.

     However, in the USS Prevalence system, I encourage my crewmembers to make friendships within the starship itself but not outside the starship.  I know from serious experience that I did chastise a few crewmembers for it as the crew and I remain distant from most of the Federation fleet.

     I do not allow myself to make many friends outside the USS Prevalence system.  I make acquaintances but not actual friends outside the USS Prevalence as I know crewmembers and I are far away from Federation space along with other Alpha Quadrant civilizations' space.  I have been asked many times not to make many friends anyway, for Starfleet Command did speak from Sector 001 that I should try to keep myself within the ship's system on friendships.  However, one older fleet admiral has recommended that I leave out women younger than 23 years of age from my life.

     I follow recommendations from Starfleet Headquarters although I have read the Starfleet handbook of rules, regulations, and recommendations concerning different situations.

     Every Starfleet captain has a different interpretation of the Starfleet handbook of rules, regulations, and recommendations concerning different situations.

     And so does every starbase commander.  I will have to keep out many details about the Starfleet handbook as the procedures are the same.

     As a fleet admiral within Starfleet Command, I have to print the handbook from subspace link to the library just near Starbase 1041.  I will have to read the handbook concerning its chain of command as well.  I am required to follow all general orders without question.  Because of confidential measures that I have to take, I may not mention many names inside Starfleet and outside Starfleet.

     I remember the Prime Directive of Non-Interference within the Starfleet system, for I do not get involved with many people in my life.

     There is not much to interfere with concerning an area bounded by Starbase 1041 and by USS Fulcrum 7's position.  I understand that the USS Fulcrum 7 has been exploring an area bounded by Starbase 1041 to 400 light-years from the starbase.

     On March 11, 2385, the USS Prevalence has decided to spearhead efforts to honor Suicide Prevention Week.  (In real life, it is from September 7, 2008, to September 13, 2008.)

     Several other starships in Starbase 1041 have taken this matter very seriously; and they also honor Suicide Prevention Week.  The USS Spinfire crew has taken this matter seriously especially about the deceased renegade captain Fred Goble, the man who did serve 2 terms onboard the USS Spinfire in 2382 and in 2383.

     Rear Admiral Robert Palanche has brought this to my attention although he is in his 2nd term as captain of the USS Spinfire.

     On March 14, 2385, the USS Prevalence did undertake an assignment as usual although I have to take a runabout to deal with certain issues in mind.  The runabout has done exceptionally well; but I realize that its home base, Starbase 1041, has other backup runabouts and personnel shuttles although they are not as fast as my modified runabout.

     March 15, 2385, will become a normal day for me; and I will keep some distance from many women as they are busy with their lives with one message in mind: They do not want to say very much with me at all beyond a reasonable doubt.

     March 15, 2385, will become my mission to go to Central Mall although I will use the USS Prevalence's modified runabout to travel to and from the Mall.  I will seek to contact some friends at Central Mall although I will hope to meet a handful of new friends on March 15, 2385.

     The USS Prevalence will continue its trek beyond March 15, 2385, although I have recently offered the USS Spinfire captain to play for the 4th Friday in a row on a game of Vindicators at Starbase 1041.  The USS Spinfire captain accepted a friendly offer from me; yet I agreed to play the red tank on March 16, 2385.

     The USS Prevalence and the USS Spinfire have decided to play a friendly match.

     Sometime next week (in Chapter 9 of Project Delta Book 6: Best of Both Friends, Part II), the winner of the friendly match will be challenging the USS Leeds (on March 22-23, 2385).

     I personally get involved with this book since I did start sometime in mid-January 2385; but so far in mid-March 2385, I have been doing well as the USS Prevalence's 1st captain.

     The deep feeling is that I may have to finish the tactical upgrades of the USS Prevalence this week and next week.  The fall season is almost here, and I just think of the cool air coming in since the blazing hot summer at Starbase 1041 is history until middle to late November 2385.

     The USS Prevalence did lose to USS Spinfire again, but I understand the USS Spinfire's tactical advantage on a game of Vindicators.  Well, it seems to me that my ship will not challenge the USS Leeds this week as I did lose last weekend.

     The USS Prevalence will remain my personal flagship for the region from Starbase 1041 stretching to an area 400 light-years away that is bounded by the USS Fulcrum 7.  The USS Prevalence, as well as the USS Delta 9, will be defending the Alpha Quadrant from enemy forces away from the USS Fulcrum 7.

     The USS Prevalence, the USS Spinfire, and the USS Delta 9 have one common mission: to defend the Alpha Quadrant from its enemies.

     The USS Prevalence will seek to make files on its own as I continue my trek within my region of the Alpha Quadrant....

     On March 30, 2385, I did use my authority to promote Robert Palanche from rear admiral to vice admiral when I did see him defeat my top score in history.  He did destroy my top score and did set a new record, prompting me to promote him to vice admiral under excellent service. 

APRIL 2385 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE

     On April 1, 2385, at Starbase 1041, Vice Admiral Robert Palanche supported my construction of the Nebula-class starship USS Omega Clipper-A.  I will remain captain of the USS Prevalence for 9 more months because of the construction phase of the USS Omega Clipper-A.

     On April 5, 2385, the USS Prevalence under my command will head out toward Central Mall and will keep the story going from 1100 to 1800 as I seek new friends and as I try to make different contacts each time....

     On April 8, 2385, the USS Prevalence did complete the theoretical software program for the USS Omega Clipper-A.  However, the new software is being tested at the lab in Starbase 1041's lower hall.

     On April 9, 2385, the USS Prevalence has made a journey to get the money deposited into the bank.  In the story, Sandy (Kincaid) Terpening did talk with me when I deposited my money.  She has been a friend to me for a long time, but I cannot give many details about the conversation.

     Also in the late afternoon of April 9, 2385, I have personally decided to think closely about the USS Prevalence as I seek to contact old friends of mine who are KWU alumni.  Vice Admiral Robert Palanche expects me to be home when I finish the 2nd session of the Internet at the public library.

     I learn that Sandy Terpening has a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old although she remains faithful to her husband without question.  However, I begin to feel that I should try to wait for her to contact me first because I would choose to let her take care of the priorities that she did set for herself.

     On April 10, 2385, the USS Prevalence did go to Jim's Country Style Chicken to get novelized by me and to work on a project concerning the USS Omega Clipper-A.

     Sometime on April 12, 2385, the USS Prevalence will go to Central Mall for the Friday segment of Chapter 12 of my novel.  However, on April 13, 2385, I will go over to Homecoming football for the first time in 8 years.

     In the afternoon of April 13, 2385, the USS Prevalence did rendezvous with the USS Fulcrum 7 for Homecoming football (KWU vs. Ottawa).  Unfortunately, Ottawa did defeat KWU.

     On April 26, 2385, the USS Prevalence did go to Central Mall and did see its friend Christina.  She did tell me that she did find another job in another town so that she would not have to travel far.

MAY 2385 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE 

     On May 4, 2385, the USS Prevalence did set a new record on a game of River Raid by scoring about 165,000 points.  The USS Prevalence fleet admiral will rendezvous at Jim's Country Style Chicken by taking a personal runabout.

     On May 16, 2385, the USS Prevalence accepted a challenge to exceed the River Raid high score of 218,000 points or more.  It may happen on May 17, 2385, and/or on May 18, 2385.

     Other ships may become jealous of such challenge, so they may try to deal with this challenge by spoiling the fun for the USS Prevalence.

     On May 22, 2385, the USS Prevalence, which is currently the flagship of Starbase 1041, will declare itself to play only Activision games like River Raid and Chopper Command.

     The USS Prevalence's computer core has about 465 GB remaining while Starbase 1041's computer core has about 597 GB remaining on both hard drives' capacity.

     But all computer cores will take about 5-7 years to fill up.  I may consider adding a 2 TB hard drive in the future for my computer system at Starbase 1041 as an external hard drive.

     I personally will refuse to get a new computer for the USS Prevalence until the starbase desktop computer reaches its demise.  I will use my 465 GB capacity for the next 3-5 years although I will seriously consider getting a 2 TB external hard drive in about 1-2 years from now.

     A total capacity of 2.5 TB for both external hard drives will help the USS Prevalence in the long-term service.  I may want to add pictures for the USS Prevalence, but I may keep my 4 GB flash drive as a backup for my pictures for later archiving to the new 2 TB hard drive if I will get it in about a year or 2 years from now.

     As of May 23, 2385, the USS Prevalence will keep the current configuration for the 465 GB capacity for its data although Starbase 1041 will store some of the starship's data.

     On May 24, 2385, the USS Prevalence will go to Central Mall for the pre-Thanksgiving activity in writing the novel called Project Delta Book 6: Best of Both Friends, Part II.

JUNE 2385 - JULY 2385 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE 

     On June 4, 2385, the USS Prevalence will start its new book within the Project Delta book series called Project Delta Book 7: Fulcrum Zero, which will be a special book within the series.

     The USS Prevalence did stay home on weekends for a while, for the situation in June 2385 did become very precarious in life.  I did feel lonesome inside Starbase 1041 on certain Fridays of June 2385 and on the 1st Friday of July 2385.

     The USS Prevalence did receive a nasty conversation at Starbase 1041 on July 8, 2385, with Vice Admiral Robert Palanche as he wants to make sure that I leave certain women alone without question and without compromise.  He was receiving orders from Fleet Admiral Nechayev.

     On July 9, 2385, I have decided to cease much contact with women in my lifetime because I have been deeply entrenched with loneliness recently.  Although I did speak with my friend Allyson Davidson Lindstrom by chat earlier, I did choose to minimize my contacts with people I know in my lifetime.

     And I have decided to leave many unknown women alone as I prefer to give up on my search for a while.  It would not be enough to satisfy Vice Admiral Palanche and Fleet Admiral Nechayev.

     In mid-July 2385, I have decided to leave a 25-year-old brunette named Sarah alone for a while.

AUGUST 2385 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE

     On August 12, 2385, I did decide to let go of my feelings for my former longtime friend as she may not want anything to do with me for a time.

     On August 23, 2385, I will be going to Central Mall although I will take a runabout from Starbase 1041, not from the USS Prevalence itself.

     On August 28, 2385, the USS Prevalence is getting a serious upgrade to its tactical systems although they will not involve addition of transphasic torpedoes.  Modified quantum torpedoes will be installed on the USS Prevalence and on defense systems of Starbase 1041.  I may get my starbase heavily armed with modified quantum torpedoes within days from now although the USS Prevalence will get 75 percent more quantum torpedoes.

     On August 29, 2385, the USS Prevalence did briefly speak with its friend Samantha.  Its crew learns that she will graduate in months from now; and I wish her in advance, congratulations.

     On August 30, 2385, I will take my personal runabout from Shuttlebay 3 of Starbase 1041 to go to Central Mall.  I will hope to see the soon-to-be 26-year-old beautiful brunette Sarah although she may downright reject my friendship offer and my relationship offer without question.

     The USS Prevalence crew will stand by my side on dealing with the soon-to-be 26-year-old beautiful brunette although USS Spinfire Vice Admiral Robert Palanche believes that I may not need to have anything to do with her after all as I deal with the USS Prevalence alone.

SEPTEMBER 2385 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE 

     On September 2, 2385, the USS Prevalence has undergone a serious computer upgrade of its memory core along with Starbase 1041.  However, the Sovereign-class starship will have its upgrade finished by September 4, 2385, at 0900.

     On September 5, 2385, I did confront the male possible stalker by telling him that I would not mind being his friend but that I would not want him to follow me around.

     On September 9, 2385, a witness did tell me that the man who attempted to stalk me did become angry with me when I did tell him off on the stalking issue that he might have committed against me.  He would not even want to give himself up.

     On September 14, 2385, the USS Prevalence did get some assistance from 2 other starships; however, 22 games of River Raid(R) 2 did get played in the lower hall office of Starbase 1041.

     On September 21, 2385, the USS Prevalence did reach a new high score on River Raid(R) 2.

     On September 23, 2385, the USS Prevalence and its away team did encounter high winds as a potent storm system did pass through my town and other surrounding towns.

DECEMBER 2385 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE

     On December 16, 2385, I did meet a shift manager named Shawna at Braum's.  She is a friendly woman who has been married for 6 years; and she has wanted a copy of my 3rd Project Delta book soon.

     On December 19, 2385, I did learn from a secretary that someone with Asperger's Syndrome may be coming some time.  She may pair him and me together soon.

JANUARY 2386 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE

     I did get to know more about the shift manager Shawna at Braum's.  She and I have remained friends with each other for about a month now.  Then I did find out that I have some interests in 2 women in my life although they have been my friends for over a decade now.  Would I end up keeping the captain's post aboard the USS Prevalence?

     I ended up picking Rear Admiral Amy C. Roets as my chief medical officer of the USS Prevalence on January 24, 2386.  She is happy about it as she wants to be a nurse.

FEBRUARY 2386 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE

     I did end up proposing a new Nebula-class refit starship named the USS Prevalence-B (with registry NCC-93875-B) on February 24, 2386.  It will start getting constructed in early March 2386 and will take at least several months to construct using the Star Trek(R) RPG.

MARCH 2386 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE

     On March 7, 2386, I did learn that my close friend Sarah E. Corbett died on March 2, 2386, (or in real life, August 30, 2009).  I did feel very sorry about her passing, and I did decide to offer my condolences to the Corbett family.

     On March 27, 2386, I have decided that I have finally gotten the hint from most men and most women in the community.  I have not wanted to speak with most of them much other than to say a quick hello with intent to avoid going any further into the conversation.  I did learn that I would interact less with people as I seek fewer friends in my life with the impression that I will have enough friends already.

APRIL 2386 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE

     On April 5, 2386, the USS Prevalence will be escorted by the USS Intrepid, the USS Venture, and 2 Akira-class heavy cruisers to and from the KWU Homecoming football game at the Salina Stadium.  The 5-ship task force has been necessary because the USS Intrepid captain is concerned that I would get into trouble in my attendance of the 2nd Homecoming game since a 7-year hiatus.  The USS Intrepid has serious concerns that it may be another March 2378 incident.

     On April 18, 2386, I did end up going to Central Mall to get my haircut and eyebrows done; but I did find out that I may have made one perpetual enemy in my life.  I know not to interact much with people especially the young woman Misha.

MAY 2386 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE

     On May 19, 2386, a police officer did make an untimely visit at my Federation starbase where the USS Prevalence docked.  He did tell me not to have contact with a certain person in mind as he did believe that she wants nothing to do with me indefinitely.

JUNE 2386 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE

     I did find out that I may end up serving onboard the USS Prevalence for at least several years or longer.  I seek to make friends although the Christmas 2009 real-life season has come up.

DECEMBER 2386 SECTION OF THE USS PREVALENCE

     I did end up having to serve my 3rd official year as captain of the USS Prevalence beginning on January 1, 2387.  I know that for some time the Sovereign-class starship has been receiving minor upgrades including the addition of phaser arrays.

I did some extensive research about runabouts before I have decided to use them for my book series; however, I do not use Danube-class runabouts much in my 6th Project Delta book.  I may end up using a different kind of runabout like the Icarus-class or even the Venture-class in future books....
