March 2388
Well, the USS Chlebowski finally gets an assignment to go to the Homecoming Football game on March 26, 2388 (or September 24, 2011, in real life). This Nebula-class starship has been on shore leave for some time now; but it has received a temporary assignment to go to the Salina Stadium although another shore leave period will be on its way on March 27, 2388. I know this sounds like the first assignment of 2388, but my assignments have been temporary, leading me to use my Danube-class runabout U.S.S. Emerald One (which is attached to the USS Chlebowski under NCC-93881).
I do not like having to deal with my command of the Nebula-class starship USS Chlebowski and the runabout USS Emerald One at the same time, but for protective reasons I will be escorted by the USS Lexington (another Nebula-class starship with registry NCC-61832) and 2 other Defiant-class starships.
I know how this feels, but I know by right now that I voluntarily choose to leave most people alone for the weekend of March 26-27, 2388. It will not be an easy decision for me to make and to follow up on.
My runabout (attached to the USS Chlebowski) did win 200 dollars on a lottery ticket on February 3, 2388. More losses have been coming since February 3, 2388....
March 2388 is not a good month for the USS Chlebowski and its runabout USS Emerald One.
And I ended up having to scratch the assignment on March 26, 2388, as I had to stay home all weekend.
