As I start May 2389 in fiction, I did find out on October 29, 2012, (real life) about the consequences of what is going on because I only have 8 months to finish the 2380s. I have been suggested that I should complete Project Delta Book 12 by the end of December 31, 2389, (June 30, 2013), although my novels will have to be published in priority order.
I have started May 2389 (the 5th chapter) in Project Delta Book 12 recently; and I did the same as the 3rd chapter in Project Delta Book 14.
Being a writer has its moments, but I recognize that the novels have been written for a reason.
Project Delta II and its 2nd book with the same name (except that the subtitle will be My Personal Hand) are getting written although I may not end the books of Series II until each novel reaches 648 pages of main text.
